Narrow Escape for Mayor, Commissioner

Secunderabad: Hyderabad mayor Bonthu Rammohan and commissioner Janardhan Reddy had a narrow escape when a wall collapsed moments after they inspected a dilapidated building.

Mayor and the commissioner went to Chandralok Complex in Secunderabad to inspect Monday night's wall collapse, where one person died. Barely moments after they left the place, another storey caved in.

The officials had barred the entry into the building and the road nearby as the building could collapse anytime.
