Telangana BJP Leaders Meet Modi, Discuss Development Plans, Kishan Reddy Calls for Positive Approach

November 27, New Delhi:

Union Minister Kishan Reddy expressed strong anger towards the Congress government in Telangana. He demanded that Revanth Reddy explain what the Congress government has done in its one year of rule. Kishan Reddy also made key comments on the Adani issue.

Today, Telangana BJP MPs and MLAs met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Following the meeting, Union Minister Kishan Reddy spoke to the media in Delhi, stating that the Prime Minister had discussions with the state leaders and inquired about the progress of development work in Telangana. He emphasized that there should be a positive approach toward development.

Kishan Reddy voiced his frustration with the Congress government in Telangana, saying that Revanth Reddy should answer what the government has achieved in the past year. He pointed out that the government had failed to implement six guarantees in the first hundred days. "I have BJP DNA, not like you, who change parties every time," he said. He added that the BJP would launch a campaign from December 1 to 5, highlighting the failures of the government. He urged Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to focus on governance rather than criticizing the opposition.

He also called attention to the tragic deaths of students due to contaminated food and said that the government should focus on the reasons behind these incidents. He accused the Congress and BRS parties of shamelessly encouraging defections and criticized both parties for working together in a conspiratorial manner.

Regarding the Adani issue, Kishan Reddy remarked that the US had no right to lecture India on the matter. "Everyone knows what happened in their elections," he said, questioning how allegations could be made against Adani without evidence. He claimed that certain forces were making these allegations with ulterior motives. "How can they make accusations against our country? Why are these accusations being raised even before the Parliament session?" he asked, making pointed comments on the issue.
