KTR In Alair: Rs 1 lakh Loan Waiver If TRS Wins

TRS leader KTR - Sakshi Post

Yadadri Bhuvanagari: Telangana caretaker minister for IT K Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) promised that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) would after retaining power in the upcoming polls, waive loans worth Rs 1 lakh at one go. Speaking at a press conference after attending the TRS election campaign in the district here on Sunday, he recalled the promises made in the party's partial manifesto. In addition to providing Rs 3,000 unemployment allowance to the youth, the new government would increase the existing pension amount to Rs 2,016 while extending the scheme to beneficiaries aged above 58, he said.

KTR said that Telangana was the only State to have 24 hours of uninterrupted electricity. Crediting caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) for transforming the Yadadri temple in the lines of Tirupati, he said that the financial assistance to the farmers would be increased from Rs 8,000 to Rs 10,000 per acre. The Congress leaders, in an efort to stall the Kaleshwaram project works, approached the Courts with false cases, he alleged.

"By joining hands with AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, whose intentions are to derail the irrigation projects in Telangana, the Congress leaders in the name of the grand alliance are compromising the State's interests. The seat sharing in the grand alliance is being completely monitored by Chandrababu," he remarked.

Predicting TRS candidate Gongidi Sunitha's victory in Alair constituency in the district, he said that the metro rail facility would soon be reaching Raigiri. KTR further said that over 70,000 acres of land in the constituency would be irrigated after completion of Kaleshwaram project.

With a grand victory of 100 seats in the upcoming elections, KCR would be re-elected as the CM, the IT minister predicted. TRS's re-election is a necessity to ensure the continued progress in the State, he added.
