Why Is KTR, Kavitha Silent On Yadagirigutta Prostitution Racket, Asks BJP

Telangana BJP spokesperson Kolli Madhavi - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: Telangana BJP official spokesperson Kolli Madhavi questioned the silence of Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao and MP Kavitha on the prostitution racket busted in Yadadri recently. She said that KTR was known to instantly react to different happenings while Kavitha was known to question everything. But both of them chose to keep mum on the Yadadri incident, she pointed out.

Speaking to media here today, the BJP spokesperson said it was saddening to see the rising cases of crime being unearthed over the last three days. It was unfortunate that young children had been tortured and given hormone injections for faster growth. She expressed surprise over the ruling TRS government not reacting to such a serious incident in the state.

Madhavi questioned KTR and Kavitha for their silence over the incident. She said KTR was known to expressing his reaction over Twitter, while Kavitha would question every issue. But unfortunately both them have chosen to remain silent. She said it was surprising that the child trafficking and prostitution racket was being operated right next to the police station and the police were unaware of it. She alleged that KCR was using the police and intelligence machinery for buying other party Leaders.

The BJP spokesperson said that not even a local woman MLA had reacted to this incident. "Is there anything called child welfare department in the state?" Welfare of the children was their responsibility, but even after such incidents were happening the department was yet to wake up, she said.

She demanded an investigation into the entire episode and a thorough check on all the houses in that area. There was also a need to find out how many more children had gone missing over the last four years, she added. Just like drugs case, Nayeem case and Miyapur case, the government should not put this one also on side track, she added.
