-Till 3PM 37.84 percentage voting recorded in Cantonment aread.

Medak Lok Sabha constituency registered highest voter turnout 54 per cent by 1pm. Bhongir Lok Sabha constituency had a polling of 40.99 per cent.

The turnout in Nalgonda Lok Sabha constituency was 42.09 per cent.  T27.07 per cent in Malkajgiri, 29.93 per cent in Chevella, 44 per cent in Mahabubnagar, 45.82 per cent in  Nagarkurnool and 41.65 per cent in Khammam.

In Adilabad Lok Sabha constituency, it touched 45.06 per cent while Nizamabad registered 38.10 per cent in the first six hours.

-Voting delayed at the polling station in the C. Kathigudem village of Charla mandal in the predominantly tribal-populated Bhadradri Kothagudem district after villagers threatened to boycott the polls in protest for their pending grievances.

-In Telangana, the Lok Sabha elections recorded 22.84 per cent polling at 11 am.

In Telangana, the Lok Sabha elections recorded 10.6 per cent polling at 9 am. MIM supremo Asaduddin Owaisi has exercised the right to vote in the polling station in Hyderabad.

TRS president and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao cast his vote in Chintamadaka village in Siddipet district. He drove in from his Erravelli farmhouse straight to Chintamadaka and voted along with his wife.He was greeted at the booth by his nephew T Harish Rao and other TSR leaders.

KCR's son and TRS working president KT Rama Rao, cast his ballot along with wife Shailima, in a polling booth set up at Nandi Nagar in Banjara Hills , Hyderabad .

The polling was stopped in Narayanapuram of the Bayyaram mandal. TRS MP candidate Kavita examined the polling trend in Gandepalli.

Authorities have set up 46,120 polling stations, of which 9,000 booths are considered sensitive.

In Telangana, nearly 2.97 crore voters will decide the fortunes of 443 candidates in the single-phase polling. The state has 34,603 polling stations including 5,749 sensitive stations.

The Nizamabad constituency will be entering the record books with a record number candidates and maximum number of EVMs. A total of 185 candidates including 178 farmers are in fray while 12 Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) will be used in each polling booth.

The farmers filed the nominations to highlight their problems including lack of remunerative prices for their produce.

Chief Electoral Officer Rajat Kumar said since the mock polling in Nizamabad would take two hours, the actual polling process would begin only at 8 a.m.
