Entry to villages along the route, including Ramrajupalem and Akumarru, has been blocked by authorities.
Local YSRCP leaders, including former MLAs and village representatives, have reportedly received notices not to attend the event.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is visiting Krishna district today, November 4, to assess the damage caused by Cyclone Montha and ensure that affected farmers receive timely assistance. However, the visit is taking place under tight security, with several restrictions imposed across the region.
According to official sources, YS Jagan would leave his Tadepalli residence at about 9:30 a.m. and travel through Center, Uyyuru Bypass, and Pamarru Bypass before reaching Guduru in the Pedana constituency. During the visit, YS Jagan will inspect the agricultural fields that suffered extensive damage due to the cyclone and directly interact with the affected farmers.
But it has been a visit surrounded by tight security and a host of restrictions. Large police contingents are deployed throughout the region to restrict gatherings. Reports said that farmers were not being allowed to meet YS Jagan and entry into villages along his route was severely controlled.
According to sources, entry to villages like Ramrajupalem, Akumarru, Seetharamapuram, and S.N. Gollapalem - which YS Jagan is going to visit - has been blocked by the authorities. Only 500 people and 10 vehicles are allowed to join the tour, while two-wheelers have also been strictly banned.
Not only this, but the local YSRCP leaders, including former MLAs, mandal, and village representatives, have also reportedly received notices of not to attend the event.
