Board of Intermediate Education  - Sakshi Post

Warangal: Even before the Intermediate results fiasco has come to a rest in the minds of the people in Telangana, the Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) seems to have landed in another situation.

As per the latest news, two boxes of question papers of advanced supplementary exams are learned to have gone missing. According to the details, the boxes filled with the question papers were stored in the strong room of Mills Colony Police Station in Warangal Commissionerate. The question papers reached the police station earlier last week, ahead of the advanced supplementary exams, which were scheduled to begin on June 7. There are 23,330 students who will be appearing for these exams.

It came to the notice of the authorities that two of the 13 sealed boxes containing question papers of the exams were missing. The question papers were of the exams, scheduled to be held on June 9 and 10.

Subsequently, the officials conducted an inquiry but their efforts didn't yield any results. The authorities presumed initially that the school officials who also stored SSC supplementary question papers in the same strong room might have taken the Inter question papers as well.

However, after the inquiry, the authorities realized that the question papers are not be found with any official. The police officials clarified that there was no negligence from the officials' side as the keys of the strong room were with them.

The police have been searching for the question papers for the past two days and are investigating the issue further.
