Hyderabad: Suspended CI and Rape Accused Nageshwara Rao Removed From Service

Hyderabad: Marredpally Ex-inspector K Nageshwar Rao has been removed from the service.He was arrested arrested in July this year after being charged with rape and attempt to murder. Hyderabad police commissioner CV Anand suspended Marredpally inspector based on a report submitted by Rachakonda police. 

Several shocking details were mentioned in the remand report submitted by the Vanasthalipuram police to the court. In the 32-page remand report, the police collected the 17 witnesses. Nageshwar Rao confessed to the crime in the preliminary investigation.

He said that he had gone to the house of the victim in Venkataramana Colony in Hastinapuram at around 9.30 pm that day which was recorded in the CCTV cameras.

The court was told that after the incident Nageshwara Rao fled to Bengaluru in Karnataka after learning that a case was registered against him. He was caught on July 10, Sunday when he returned to  Hyderabad.
