Bus Carrying Pilgrims From Nizamabad Hit By Lorry In Bihar, 1 Killed, 25 Injured

In a very tragic incident, a bus carrying 38 pilgrims was hit by a lorry from the rear side. The accident took place on  NH-19 near Son Plaza Hotel in Aurangabad district of Bihar on Tuesday night. In the road mishap, one woman died and 25 others were injured. The deceased was identified as Saralamma from Velmal. All the pilgrims are from Velmal, Dattapur, Talaveda, and Donkeshwar in the Nizamabad district. They went on a pilgrimage arranged by a private travel agency recently. According to the reports, the pilgrims were going to Varanasi after visiting the Buddhist temple of Gaya, when the accident occurred. 

The locals gave information to the police and they reached the spot immediately. Locals and police rescued the injured pilgrims and the injured have been shifted to the Aurangabad government hospital for treatment. The driver of the truck fled the spot.
