As per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines, banks across India are closed only on the second and fourth Saturdays, along with Sundays and notified public holidays. Since February 7 is the first Saturday, all public and private sector banks will function normally.
Are banks closed in any state on February 7?
As of now, no state government has declared a bank holiday on February 7. There are no major festivals, regional observances, or special occasions scheduled for the day that would lead to bank closures in states such as Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, or other regions.
