On December 24th, 2024 (Tuesday), banks in Mizoram, Nagaland, and Meghalaya will remain closed in observance of Christmas Eve. This will be followed by a public holiday on December 25th, Christmas Day, and a further celebration of the holiday on December 26th, Christmas Celebration Day. Other Bank Holidays in December 2024

Apart from the Christmas holidays, there are a few other regional bank holidays in December. On December 30th (Monday), banks in Meghalaya will be closed to commemorate U Kiang Nangbah. Additionally, December 31st (Wednesday) will see bank closures in Mizoram and Sikkim for New Year’s Eve/Lossong/Namsoong.
