 - Sakshi Post

West Godavari: Unlike other political alliances, the TDP and Jana Sena have been in a rocky relationship from day one. Supporters of these parties have been expressing their displeasure over one issue or the other. Similar scenes of disgruntlement were witnessed in Bhimavaram during Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan’s tour of the assembly constituency.

It is almost certain that Pawan Kalyan may contest the upcoming Assembly elections from Bhimavaram seat. As part of his preparation, he’s touring the constituency. The meeting of Pawan Kalyan with the TDP leaders was planned at the TDP party office in Bhimavaram. Incharges of severn assembly segments were invited to the important meeting.

Several TDP leaders and party cadre were waiting for their meeting with the Jana Sena leader. However, the meeting was cancelled at the last minute as Pawan Kalyan did not turn up for it. The cancellation of the meeting angered the local TDP leaders.

Visibly upset former minister Pitani Satyanarayana said that when the Jana Sena leader cannot meet the party leaders from the alliance then how can he meet the people for votes. He left the place while asking the party leadership to not invite him ever to Pawan Kalyan’s meeting.

As per reports, Jana Sena leader met several key leaders of the TDP ally including TDP district president Thota Sitaramalakshmi, former MLA P Anjaneyulu among others at the latter’s residence.
