Case After Case: 52 FIRs and PT Warrants in Vendetta Drive Against Ambati

Relentless Targeting Against YSRCP Leaders Continues in AP

Lawyers Flag Safety Risks Fpr Ambati as TDP Keeps Him in Crowded Jail Barrack

The coalition government is continuing the vindictive action against former minister and YSRCP senior leader Ambati Rambabu. As part of another case registered against him, Pattabhipuram police will produce him before a Guntur court on Monday.

Meanwhile, Rambabu’s family members have expressed serious concern over his health.

The case dates back to November 12 last year, when Rambabu took out a rally protesting the alleged privatization of government medical colleges. During the protest, Pattabhipuram Circle Inspector Ganga Venkateshwarlu stopped the rally and allegedly behaved aggressively with Rambabu. Later, police registered a case against Rambabu, accusing him of obstructing officials from performing their duties.

In connection with this case, police obtained a PT warrant and are producing Rambabu in the Guntur court today. As part of the process, Pattabhipuram police brought him from Rajamahendravaram Central Jail and left for Guntur.

Police have already registered multiple cases against Rambabu at various places across the state, including Rajamahendravaram, Anaparthi, Chittoor, and Bapatla. So far, a total of 52 cases have been filed against him statewide. Officials have also prepared three more PT warrants.

It is also notable that Rambabu has not been provided any special facilities in Rajamahendravaram Central Jail. He is lodged in the same barrack along with three other inmates. In this context, lawyers have expressed concerns over his safety.

Sources say police are preparing to file PT warrants in a few more cases against Rambabu as part of what his supporters allege is a targeted campaign. His family members have again raised alarms over his health and accused coalition leaders of deliberately subjecting him to mental and physical harassment. They alleged that false cases are being filed as part of a planned vendetta and claimed that police are acting under the direct instructions of the government.
