TikTok Video Traces Missing Man To Transwoman

Chennai: In what could be termed as a happy but slightly bizarre reunion, a Tamil Nadu woman traced her absconding husband of three years, through a TikTok video, which surfaced online.

Getting into the details, Jaya Prada who belonged to Villapuram district in Tamil Nadu was married to Suresh from Krishnagiri. They both had two children and suddenly due to a family dispute, Suresh abandoned his family and disappeared. Though Jaya Prada tried to trace him with the help of her relatives and his friends the attempts were futile. She then went and filed a missing complaint with the police, but they were unable to trace him too.

Recently one of her relatives told her that he saw a man with Suresh's features with another woman in a TikTok video. She also checked out the video and confirmed that it was her husband. She informed the police ,who traced his whereabouts to Hosur in Karnataka. It was reported that he had run away from home and was living with a transwoman and had shot that video with her and shared it online.

Both Suresh and Jaya Prada were sent for counselling and later sent home.
