Salman To Remake Mahesh Maharshi?

Mahesh Babu’s much-awaited Maharshi which is going to hit the screens on Friday has set the bar of expectations very high. Given the hype surrounding the movie, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan reportedly expressed his willingness to watch the movie. Ecstatic as they would be, the makers of Maharshi are arranging a special screening for Salman Khan during early hours on Friday.

It is learnt that Salman Khan is contemplating a remake of Maharshi in Hindi with him in the lead role if he finds substance in the movie. Recall, it was Mahesh Babu’s ‘Pokiri’ which Khan remade in Hindi as ‘Wanted’ breathed life into the latter’s career when it was on a downward spiral back in 2009.

On the other hand, Mahesh Babu wants to continue his success streak with Maharshi after his Bharat Ane Nenu did extremely well at box office.Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, the film features Pooja Hegde and Allari Naresh in main roles.
