Chandrababu Bringing Disrepute To Telugus: Pandula Ravindra Babu

YSRCP leader Pandula Ravindra Babu - Sakshi Post

East Godavari: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader and Amalapuram MP Pandula Ravindra Babu lambasted Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu saying that he was defaming the Telugu state's pride and dignity at the Centre.

Speaking to press persons here on Tuesday, Ravindra Babu said that Chandrababu Naidu was trying every trick in the book to put himself in the forefront by visiting Delhi umpteen number of times in a last-minute bid to stay in power. Chandrababu making light of exit poll predictions indicate TDP’s ‘exit’ from the politics, he added.

“Knowing fully well that the TDP would be fragmented by 2024, Chandrababu has been moving across the country in a bid to unite opposition parties and form an alliance to stake claim in case the NDA fails to get majority,” he said.

He should accept people's verdict with grace and dignity, instead of making absurd allegations. Ravindra Babu exuded confidence that the YSRCP would win 150 Assembly seats and 25 MP seats. Chandrababu Naidu feared that if YS Jagan Mohan Reddy comes to power, he would rule for more than 30-40 years making him more jittery.

Now that Chandrababu has met national leaders, filed cases in courts, complained to the Election Commission, it would be better if he now visits a psychologist, he derided. The main results on May 23 would be more than what the exit polls predicted, he said and predicted that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would become the next chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.

Meanwhile N Chandrababu Naidu, as part of his efforts to unite the opposition in the last four days, held meetings with the leaders of several parties in the national capital, Lucknow and Kolkata. Naidu had met UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Congress President Rahul Gandhi, NCP chief Sharad Pawar, Loktantrik Janata Dal leader Sharad Yadav, AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, CPI-M leader Sitaram Yechury in the national capital. He met BSP supremo Mayawati and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav in Lucknow.

The TDP leader also met his West Bengal counterpart in Kolkata on Monday evening. Sources say that Chandrababu will be holding a meeting with 21 opposition parties in Delhi on Tuesday.
