Adilabad: Abandoned Infant’s Head Found In Garbage Bin

Adilabad: In a case of brutality, a head of a newborn was found in a garbage bin in the district on Tuesday morning. According to the details, the locals spotted the head of the newborn in the bin in KRK colony under the limits of Mavala police station.

Upon being alerted regarding the incident, the police rushed to the spot and shifted the baby's head to Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Adilabad for autopsy.

As per the sources, the newborn was abandoned two days back fearing social discrimination for delivering the baby without entering wedlock. The police suspect that the baby was mauled to death by dogs. A case has been registered by the police and further investigation is on.
