RTC Bus Driver Suffers Stroke Mid-Journey, Dies As Vehicle Overturns

Adilabad: An RTC bus rammed into a tree in a road accident late on Monday evening in the district. The Hyderabad-bound public transport vehicle dashing against a tree and overturned resulting in the death of the bus driver and seven other passengers injured.

The incident took place at Danthanpalli village in Utnoor mandal. According to the Utnoor police, the bus driver, Wagmore Vasanth(50), a resident of Adilabad town suffered a heart stroke on the wheel, which led to the collision of the vehicle with roadside tree.

The bus, then turned turtle causing several injuries to the passengers, who were shifted to Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Adilabad. Their condition is said to be critical. The injured passengers were identified as Rajesh, Veerubai, Praveen, Rajamma, Ramesh and Purushottam hailing from different parts of Telangana.
