YS Jagan Will Be A Powerful Force To Reckon With : Analysts

Amaravati: By the end of the elections, YSR Congress Party leader (YSRCP) YS Jagan Mohan Reddy could become a powerful political force to reckon, is what several National Channels are predicting. Ever since the election campaigns have taken off, National Channels are evincing keen interest in his political campaigns and are prophesising that he will play a key role in the National level politics.

For a regional party leader from Andhra Pradesh to get such huge response is generating interest among the political analysts and circles. With just four days left for simultaneous elections for the Andhra Pradesh Assembly and all 25 Lok Sabha seats in the state, YS Jagan, as the leader is popularly known, told a television channel that he has forgiven the Congress, in which he was till 2011. "I believe in God. I pray to God. I read the Bible every day. Vengeance is not for me. I am forgiving and I have forgiven," he said. But YS Jagan, who foresees a hung Parliament, has been saying that he will back any party or parties wanting to form the government provided they promise to confer special status to the state. Apart from YSRCP’sYS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Naveen Patnaik, K Chandrasekhar Rao, Mamata Banerjee are also going to play a crucial role in national politics is what they are predicting.

National television networks are featuring special programs about YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's political reign. India Today channel telecast a special program titled ''Political Gladiator'' on Saturday. It featured his entire political journey, the iconic 3648 kms Padayatra, his new found political maturity, the role of his mother YS Vijayamma and sister YS Sharmila in his political journey, in a very appealing way.

Following suit was Times Now, CSS News 18, NDTV channels, who featured YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in special programs in the past week. Well-known journalists like Pranoy Roy, Srinivasan Jain, Rajdeep Sardesai, Barkha Dutt, Navika Kumar, Uma Sudhir and others have already attended his political campaigns and interviewed him there. They have admitted that never have they seen such rallies before, where the turnout of public was so massive. Analysts say that this is a sign of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's crucial role in National politics in the times to come.

Even political surveys predict that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will win hands down and emerge as the fourth largest party in the Lok Sabha ( India Today Survey). The survey said that YSRCP would win 18 MP Seats and would be the largest party in Lok Sabha. The survey also predicted that there would be serious fight between the TDP and YSRCP, but the people are leaning towards the YSRCP. Other channels have already predicted that the YSRCP could get 20-22 seats in the Lok Sabha in the upcoming Elections 2019.
