YSRCP Will Implement Phase Wise Liquor Ban in AP

YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has often talking about liquor ruining families and destroying lives in all his public meeting. Now, he has got a support from Jana Chaitanya Vedika which has called upon voters to ensure Telugu Desam Party's defear in the upcoming elections. It also stated that TDP had encouraged alcohol addiction in the state.

State JCV president V Lakshmana Reddy recalled how the Telugu Desam which had promised to shut down belt shops had gone back on its words and ensure the sale of liquor only rose in the last five years of its misrule in Andhra Pradesh. He said liquor sales was a major source of revenue in Andhra Pradesh. He also urged all the political parties to call for a ban on liquor in Andhra Pradesh.

He also said that the women had started an anti-liquor movement after the JCV conducted several awareness programmes in the state.

Reddy recalled that the late Andhra Pradesh chief minister NTR had banned liquor in the state which was unfortunately lifted by his son-in-law Chandrababu Naidu which had caused havoc in people's lives.

Meanwhile, the YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has promised to implement phase wise liquor ban in Andhra Pradesh after ushering in Rajanna Rajyam. The YSRCP has also vowed to shut down all the belt shops dotting the state.
