Former MLA and Telugu Desam party leader Gurunath Reddy - Sakshi Post

Anantapur: Former MLA and Telugu Desam party leader Gurunath Reddy has left TDP for YSRCongress party. This TDP leader met YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who is currently touring in the Srikakulam district as part of the Praja Sankalpa Yatra the mass outreach initiative and was invited into the party by peoples leader. After joining the party Gurunath Reddy spoke to the media and lambasted Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. He said, “Only Chandrababu and his family got benefitted in his term.” Gurunath Reddy said, it was YSRCP which has taken up the fight for Special Category Status and Chandrababu got away saying one or the other reason, he did nothing for the development of the state.

He criticized that Chandrababu has been to the working site of Polavaram project many times to pose for the pictures and publicity. Before elections, he was with BJP later forged an alliance with the Congress party, responsible for the state bifurcation. He exuded confidence that YSRCP is going to come out with flying colors in the election, with winning majority seats in the Anantapur district. Earlier Gurunath Reddy resigned to the primary membership of TDP calling alliance with Congress as the reason.
