Challenges That Went Viral In 2018

Challenging others has gone digital and many such challenges are going viral nowadays. As the year 2018 is coming to an end, here are some interesting challenges which went viral on the internet. Sample a few challenges which were accepted across the globe. There were challenges to raise awareness regarding fitness, health, and environment. Others were for plain fun.

Kiki challenge: “Hotline Bling” fame popstar Drake started this famous Kiki challenge as part of promotions to his new single “in my feelings’. People who accepted the challenge had to jump out of the moving car and show their moves without any breaks and get back into the car, which is still moving. This challenge was considered dangerous and banned by police in some states. But the Telugu youth gave a new and creative spin to this challenge.

Lemon face challenge was to raise the awareness of a type of brain cancer called DIPG, this challenge was begun by NGO. People who accept this challenge have to slice a lemon, take a bite into it and swallow the juice. The expression on the face should be shot and posted on the internet. This challenge can be taken individually or as a group. Later the challengers are requested to make a donation for the cause.

A Fitness challenge to promote fitness among the India citizens went viral. Union Minister of Sports, Olympic medal winner, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore started this challenge called “hum fit toh India fit”. Celebrities from Bollywood, Sports including the Prime Minister Narendra Modi accepted this challenge and posted videos while working out.

Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar came up with a challenge for all his fans. This challenge is called “Kit Up Challenge” whoever accepts this challenge have to shoot a video of them while playing their favorite sport. He posted a video playing Cricket. Following him were top Indian players Sardar Singh, PV Sindhu, Mithali Raju, Vijender Singh, Kidambi Srikanth and

, among others. Many other sports enthusiasts accepted and completed this challenge.

“Green challenge” was started in Telangana to heighten the awareness about environment especially about planting more number of saplings. Started by an NGO this challenge got popular across India. Famous people who accepted the challenge were Governor Narasimhan, Pawan Kalyan, and many other Telugu celebrities, all of whom planted a sapling and took to Twitter to post a picture along with it.

The Blue Whale challenge scared many people last year. This year Momo Challenge was seen on the same lines as the Blue Whale challenge. With the suicide of a 12year old girl in Argentina, this game came into the headlines. Details regarding the founder, and its place of origin are unknown. This begins with a challenge to chat and takes a violent turn. There are tasks which are to be completed and if not the challenger gets threatening messages.

Wealth planting challenge involves people to take all those things which they think are dear to them and spread them out on the floor. Later taking a picture with all those articles present on the floor, the person in question, should also act lying unconscious in the picture. Many people posted pictures with credit cards, pets, and designer wear.

Lip sync bottle challenge, What the plus challenge, invisible challenge, the dele alli hand challenge, the Neymar challenge, snoot challenge were among others which went viral on social media.
