Chandrababu Never Wanted To Build Amaravati: YSRCP Leader Buggana

YSRCP Buggana Rajendranath Reddy - Sakshi Post

Senior leader of the YSR Congress party (YSRCP) Buggana Rajendranath Reddy tore into Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for making tall and baseless claims that the Capital city of Amaravati had already been built in the State. He said that Chandrababu was in the habit of bragging meaninglessly and also claims that he had built Hyderabad.

The senior YSRCP leader questioned Chandrababu as to why he could not construct a single structure in Amaravati in four and a half years when he could build the entire city of Hyderabad in nine years as per his own claims. Chandrababu's favourite media outlets bolstered his outlandish claims on Amaravati and harped on his achievements in the new capital with fabricated stories.

The AP CM thinks that these concocted versions playing out in select media outlets would suffice to give people the impression that the Capital city had been built. His entire image hinged on false propaganda by these media houses, Buggana said. However, people who visit the Capital city are constantly confronted with harsh reality to the contrary, Buggana said.

The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) Chairman also ridiculed the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister for making comments like wanting to be a pilot during an airshow and a collector at a collectors' conference. Chandrababu Naidu's response to the question on why he could not build anything in Amaravati was predictable, he said. The AP CM passed the blame on to the Centre conveniently forgetting the fact that he was a close ally of the BJP in the NDA government for four years.

While sailing with the BJP, Chandrababu criticized the Congress and now, while embracing the Congress, he found nothing right with the BJP, with whom he had been an alliance partner for four years and against whom he is waging what he terms 'Dharma Porata Deeksha'!

Buggana faulted Chandrababu Naidu for going in for an alliance with the Congress party in Telangana. How can Chandrababu choose a party which bifurcated the State as his principle alliance partner, he questioned.

The YSRCP leader further said that Chandrababu took the responsibility for construction of Polavaram project from the Centre only to gain through commissions from sub-contracts. He said that throught Neeru-Chettu program, the TDP leaders looted the State.
