KCR Visits New Telangana Secretariat 

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) visited the new Telangana Secretariat on Friday. He is also expected to discuss the opening date of the Secretariat with the officials, along with reviewing the Secretariat's work.

On the other hand, on the occasion of Ambedkar birth anniversary which would be on April 14, the Telangana government intends to unveil a huge statue. 

Meanwhile, the new secretariat along with the statue and the martyrs' memorial are expected to be inaugurated within this month. There is a possibility that KCR might urge the officials to speed up work of the new Secretariat.

KCR has already visited the new secretariat several times to oversee the progress. There is a chance of him announcing the new inauguration date soon. The work of the secretariat was almost completed, but a fire broke out, gutting parts of the building.
