The TRS has turned the city pink which is the colour of its party flag, by installing a large number of cut-outs, hoardings and other publicity materials.

As many as 150 archs and 400 'pink' hoardings have been erected tall in various parts of city  welcoming delegates, party workers, volunteers and law-makers to the plenary session.
The ruling party has made elaborate arrangements for its plenary session, which is the first after formation of Telangana state. Telangana state was formed and offically came into existence from June 2. KCR was re-elected as TRS president this year. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao would officially be declared the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) president in TRS plenary on Friday.

  • The plenary will be held from 11 am to 7 pm, Hyderabad police have imposed traffic restrictions in several places in the city. (Read: Traffic diversions in Hyderabad)
  • Parking arrangements for the massive crowd which will be attended by people coming from ten districts of Telangana have been made. (Read: Parking arrangements for plenary)
  • The event is expected to be attended by more than 50,000 delegates from across the state, according to TRS leader and Telangana Home Minister N Narasimha Reddy.
  • KCR would address TRS leaders and activists on the course of action for the future, TRS Secretary General K Keshav Rao said.  
  • According to sources, KCR will address the crowd twice in the plenary
  • Seating arrangements were made with partitions for VIPs, women leaders and media
  • The unexpected downpour drenced the stadium last night, so as precautionay as temporary roof is arranged.
  • Six LED screens have been arranged so that everyone can view the events on state clearly
  • 300 coolers with great cooling capacity have been erected to beat the scorching heat
  • 2500 police have surrounded the city for security
  • Key resolutions will be adopted concerning party and political issues which may include Haritha Haaram, Centre's promises made to Telangana, Godavari pushkaralu, promoting Hyderabad to Global companies, maintaining telangana culture and promoting it.
  • The TRS has also made massive arrangements to host delegates and for successful conduct of the event.
