Traffic Police Imposes Fine Of Rs 52 Lakhs On Drunken Drivers

Hyderabad: The city traffic police imposed a fine of Rs 52,83,000 in the first two months of 2017 for drunken driving and booked 1,921 cases, Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Jitender said on Saturday.

Releasing the statistics for the first two months of 2017, the traffic chief said 823 drunken drivers have been imprisoned for varying duration.
