Heavy Rains Expected Across Telangana Over Next Three Days

Hyderabad: Heavy rains are expected to lash Telangana over the next three days. The Indian Meteorological Centre (IMD) in Hyderabad issued a rainfall warning while the heat wave conditions are likely to prevail in the state. Telangana has been witnessing pre-monsoon rain and thundershowers of varying intensity due to multiple weather systems prevailing near the region.

Adilabad district recorded the highest temperature of 45 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Malkajgiri in Hakimpet recorded 7 cm rainfall, 4 cm in Asifabad (Komaram Bheem), 2 cm in Hyderabad, 1 cm in Shadnagar (Ranga Reddy), 1 cm in Shamirpet, Narsapur and Lingampet.

The maximum temperatures recorded across the state:

Adilabad - 45.3 degree Celsius

Ramagundam - 44.6

Nizamabad - 44-4

Nalgonda - 43.6

Khammam - 43.2

Bhadrachalam - 43

Mahbubnagar - 42.8

Medak - 42.6

Hanmakonda - 42

Hyderabad - 40.7
