Hyderabad: Former Union minister and senior BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya said that he found it strange that the working president of TRS, K.Tarakarama Rao (KTR), is ignorant about who the working president of BJP, JP Nadda is. The former union minister wrote an open letter to KTR on Tuesday reminding him that it was under Nadda's tenure as union health minister that All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) was established in Hyderabad. Moreover, KTR had met Nadda at that time and requested him to accord primacy to pharma projects in the state. He wondered how the TRS working president had forgotten these facts.

Dattatreya further said that claiming that he did not know who a three-term MLA, Rajya Sabha member of two terms and former union health minister is, reflects KTR's ignorance.

It may be recalled that KTR said he did know who JP Nadda was and asked him prove corruption charges against the TRS leadership if he had any evidence. He said that BJP will not be able to replicate a Karnataka-like situation in Telangana. KTR was responding to criticism from the BJP's national working president, JP Nadda. KTR said that the BJP had no place in Telangana which the BJP Telangana president Dr. K. Laxman countered saying KTR should go to Nizamabad and ask his sister former Lok Sabha MP, Kavitha where the BJP stands in the state.

Nadda had earlier criticised the TRS leadership accusing it of huge corruption in Kaleshwaram project. Nadda described KCR's governance as family-centric rule.
