The film theatre count has reduced due to new film releases. But in some areas Rangasthalam is still running to packed houses. This is the third highest grosser after Baahubali series at the foreign box office.
Rangasthalam is directed by Sukumar and features Samantha, Anasuya, Prakash Raj, Aadhi and Jagapathi Babu in lead roles.
The film has set a new benchmark for Mahesh Babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu by racing towards $4 million mark. Rangasthalam has kept the cash registers ringing since its opening day with no effect on its collections despite new releases.
On the career front, Ram Charan will be next seen in yet to be titled flick which is being directed by Boyapati Srinu who has delivered hits like Balakrishna’s Legend and Allu Arjun’s Sarrainodu. The film is likely to hit the big screens by end of this year. Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi has been roped in to play a crucial role in the film. It is learned, they have even paid hefty remuneration for his role.
