With the entire country on heightened alert following the recent blast in Delhi, filmmaker SS Rajamouli has announced strict safety measures for the upcoming Globetrotter event scheduled for November 15 in Hyderabad. The director took to Twitter to address fans directly, confirming that the event will not be open to the general public.

Rajamouli stated that the team is taking “every precaution possible” to avoid overcrowding or any situation that could lead to panic or a stampede. As part of the measures, no online passes will be issued for the event. Entry will be strictly restricted through physical passes only, each embedded with a unique QR code. Once scanned, attendees will receive personalised instructions on the route they must take to reach the venue, ensuring smooth crowd movement and controlled access.

The director also confirmed that people below 18 years and senior citizens above 60 will not be allowed to attend, citing safety concerns and the need to minimise risks during an event of this scale. This age-based restriction, though unusual for a film-related gathering, reflects the cautious approach adopted in light of national security alerts.

Hyderabad itself has been on high alert ever since multiple airports and public locations across India received threats via email. With authorities intensifying checks at crowded spots, Rajamouli and his team are coordinating closely with security officials to ensure that the event proceeds safely and without disruptions.
