The buzz on social media suggests that Rajamouli has told Mahesh Babu to avoid public gatherings for a couple of months. 

If Mahesh steps out with the new look, it would kill the excitement. Rajamouli wants Mahesh Babu’s new look to be a secret for some months. Mahesh Babu is already preparing for the role in his movie with Rajamouli. 

A Hollywood trainer was roped in by Rajamouli to train Mahesh Babu and his look for the film.
