Adipurush's Pre-Release Business In Detail

Prabhas' Adipurush has become a hit even before its release. If you are wondering what we are talking about, here is what we mean. 

Adipurush was made on a budget of Rs 500 cr. The makers have recovered the invested amount even before its release. They earned Rs 435 cr from theatrical and digital release rights. 

The film's theatrical rights have been sold for a whopping amount of Rs 185 cr. The digital rights have been acquired by Amazon Prime Video for Rs 250 cr. The theatrical rights and digital rights together stand at Rs 435 cr. 

That way, Adipurush is a profitable venture even before its release. The makers of the movie are much relieved. They could be waiting to hear the response from the audience at the box office.

It will be interesting to watch out if Adipurush will be able to break the record of Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan, which is the first hit of this year.
