Hyderabad Weather Update: Temperatures Likely to Rise as Winter Fades

India Meteorological Department has forecast a noticeable increase in temperatures across Telangana, suggesting that the region is gradually moving away from winter and edging toward warmer conditions. Over the next 24 hours, residents in several districts, including Hyderabad, can expect a steady rise in daytime temperatures.
Warm Day Expected in Hyderabad
The city is likely to record maximum temperatures between 29°C and 30°C, while the minimum temperature may drop to around 17°C. Although the sky could remain partly cloudy, weather conditions are expected to stay mostly dry throughout the day. Early morning fog is anticipated to clear quickly, allowing brighter sunshine to dominate by the afternoon.
Humidity levels may hover near 32 percent, potentially making the atmosphere feel drier than usual. Light winds from the southeast are predicted, with speeds ranging from 7 to 10 miles per hour, contributing to generally comfortable yet warm conditions.
Similar Pattern Across Telangana
Other districts such as Nizamabad, Khammam, Nalgonda, and Karimnagar are expected to experience comparable weather patterns. Daytime temperatures in these areas could climb about 1–2 degrees above the seasonal average.
While some northern parts of the state may continue to feel slightly cool during nighttime hours, the daytime heat is forecast to become increasingly noticeable. Rain is not expected in the immediate future, as weather officials predict predominantly dry conditions. Only a few locations might witness brief cloud cover, with the likelihood of rainfall remaining low at roughly 10 percent.
High UV Levels Call for Caution
The UV Index is projected to reach 6, placing it in the “high” category. This indicates that extended exposure to direct sunlight—especially between noon and 3 pm—could lead to skin discomfort or sunburn. Residents are encouraged to take simple protective measures such as using umbrellas, wearing hats, or applying sunscreen when heading outdoors.
Health specialists also advise maintaining proper hydration. Drinking enough water and including refreshing fluids like fresh fruit juices in your daily routine can help prevent dehydration as temperatures continue to rise.
Transition Toward Warmer Days
Overall, Telangana appears to be exiting the colder season sooner than expected. Although mornings in certain areas may still carry a hint of chill, afternoons are likely to grow steadily warmer in the days ahead. With meteorologists predicting a gradual upward trend in temperatures, commuters and travellers are encouraged to prepare for changing weather conditions and plan their activities accordingly.
