The trailer of Peddi, starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, was released recently and has created huge buzz online. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the rural sports drama is one of the most awaited Telugu films of 2026.

Soon after the trailer launch, social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter) were flooded with reactions from fans and movie lovers. While many praised Ram Charan’s powerful screen presence, action scenes, and intense village backdrop, others felt the trailer looked routine and compared it to earlier rural sports dramas.

Several fans appreciated the emotional scenes, sports elements, and background music composed by A. R. Rahman. Many viewers also liked the mass avatar of Ram Charan and said the visuals looked grand and energetic.

At the same time, a section of netizens felt the storyline appeared predictable and said the trailer reminded them of other sports-based commercial entertainers. Some social media users expected a fresher presentation from director Buchi Babu Sana after the success of Uppena.

The trailer launch event was held in Mumbai and received a strong response from fans. During the event, the team spoke confidently about the film and expressed hope that audiences would connect emotionally with the story.

Apart from Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, the film also features Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu Sharma, and Boman Irani in important roles. The movie is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on June 4, 2026.
