Ram Charan’s Peddi Team Narrowly Escapes Red Fort Blast Area During Shooting Schedule

 - Sakshi Post

A car explosion near the Red Fort in Delhi on the night of the 10th of this month shocked people across the country. The central government confirmed that it was a terrorist attack. Ten people lost their lives in the incident and more than twenty others were injured. An in-depth investigation is currently underway.

Reports suggest that Ram Charan’s Peddi movie team narrowly escaped being present near the blast site. The film unit had obtained permission to shoot in the same Red Fort surrounding area on the 15th and 16th of this month. However, after the explosion, the team postponed the shooting without a second thought. Since the incident occurred just a few days before their planned schedule, the entire team is said to be in shock.

Rashmika Mandanna also reportedly planned a shoot for her upcoming film in the same location. This schedule has now been postponed as well. There is little chance of any film shooting taking place in the Red Fort zone for the next few days.

Peddi is currently in its final stage of production. The makers are aiming to release the film in theatres on March 27 next year. Recently, the song “Chikiri Chikiri” was released and it quickly went viral. The film is set as a rural sports drama. Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead opposite Ram Charan, while Kannada star Shivrajkumar appears in a key role. The film is directed by Buchi Babu Sana.
