Here's an update on Athiya Shetty’s pregnancy reports 

After Parineeti Chopra dismissed rumours of her pregnancy, reports emerged that another Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty is also not pregnant. 

Earlier, news started making rounds on social media saying Athitya’s father Suniel Shetty has hinted that she is pregnant and Athiya and KL Rahul may be expecting their first baby. Suniel is a judge on the Dance Deewane dance reality show. The reality show host Bharti Singh teased the Bollywood actor and asked what kind of ‘nana’ (maternal grandparent ) he would be. To which, he replied, on next season’s show he will be walking on the stage like a nana. 

This cryptic response triggered a wave of speculation that his daughter Athiya is expecting her first child with KL Rahul. 

According to a source, “there is no truth” in the buzz around Athiya’s pregnancy and Suniel Shetty made the comment in a jest and it was misinterpreted by the people. 

Notably, Athiya got married to Indian cricketer Rahul in an intimate wedding ceremony in 2023. The couple do not talk or share much about their private life on social media.
