Video Of MP Man Brutally Assaulting Girlfriend Goes Viral, Accused Arrested

A rather distressing video that went viral shows a man brutally assaulting a girl who apparently was his girlfriend. The incident which took place in the State of Madhya Pradesh is said to have taken a few days ago, but the video went viral recently after it was shared on social media. Police had registered a case based on the complaint of women activists. They launched a manhunt and the man identified as Pankaj was arrested from Mirzapur in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday. This was shared by a Time Now Journalist on his Twitter account.

The rather disturbing video shows the youth slapping the girl and throwing her down. He is seen kicking and stomping her face and leg multiple times and the woman faints in the attack. He picks up the motionless girl and continues speaking, and the whole incident was recorded by another person. The incident took place in the Mauganj area in the Rewa district. The girl had asked him to marry her and this was stated to be the cause of the assault. The video is said to be shot in the Mauganj area of Rewa and was shot a couple of days ago.
