YSR Pension Kanuka Can Be Availed Anywhere Across Andhra Pradesh.

AMARAVATI: The Andhra Pradesh State government has taken a crucial decision to ensure that there is no inconvenience caused to the beneficiaries during the distribution of pensions. The beneficiaries who have been residing out of their hometowns in the State for the past six months either for personal, family, or health or other reasons instead of their own hometown, will now also be eligible to receive the pension.

However, they have to certify that they have been in other areas for six months. The officials also said that the beneficiaries would be mapped to the secretariat by the village/ward volunteer where the beneficiaries reside. 

To this end, Society For Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP) CEO A Mohd Imtiaz on Wednesday directed all district District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) Project Directors to implement the order. He said that this benefit will be available only for those who have left their hometowns six months ago.

The SERP CEO directed officials to immediately implement guidelines on pension portability and orders have been issued to all offices to this effect. To avail of this service, the beneficiaries have to register their names in the village or ward Secretariats in the area where they reside.
