Lucknow: Disappointed over the BJP's governance, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's lookalike Abhinandan Pathak has filed his nomination papers on Friday from Lucknow Lok Sabha constituency, the turf of Home Minister Rajnath Singh who is also contesting.

Pathak says he will also file his nomination against PM Modi from the Varanasi constituency on April 26.

Lucknow goes on polls on May 6, while in Varanasi voting will take place on May 19.

Most of the times seen dressed in similar fashion as the PM, he is also known as 'Chota Modi'. He belongs to Saharanpur and lives in Lucknow.

He says that he wants to fight the elections as he needs to represent people's issues in the Parliament. Taking a dig at Modi, Pathak says that one who speaks on 'Mann ki Baat', does not listen to the 'Mann ki Baat' of people.

Pathak is 51 years old and has obtained a master's degree in Hindi from Allahabad University, according to the affidavit submitted to the Election Commission.

The affidavit further mentions that he has 15,000 in cash and account, which he has earned by performing religious rituals.
