Fake Note Gang Busted in Hyderabad

The Hyderabad's East Zone Task Force arrested Sk Ghouse of Hyderabad and Md Kaimul Haque and Saleem Miyan of West Bengal on Monday and recovered fake notes with the face value of Rs 7 lakh from them. A Honda Activa, four cellphones and two Sim Cards were also revovered from them.

Ghouse and Haque were arrested in the past too in connection with the fake notes racket. Saleem MIyan too is wanted in several crimes. Another person - Saidullah - said to be the kingpin of the racket, is absconding.

Ghouse came into contact with Haque during his stint at Chanchalguda jail and went joined hands with him. They were arrested while Haque and Miyan were handing over the fake notes to Gouse.

The arrests were made under the supervision of Additional DCP N Koti Reddy. The police are investigating.
