Mahesh Maharshi Highest Grossing Telugu Movie, Beats Venky’s F2

Mahesh Babu has once again proved as to why he is referred to as Superstar in Tollywood. Mahesh Babu has been all over the internet, thanks to 'Maharshi' and his family vacation pictures on some foreign land. Maharshi is the ultimate winner and has been declared as a blockbuster hit of this month. It has been more than one month of its release still it continues to put the box office on fire.

Can you believe this,'Maharshi' movie tickets are selling like hot cakes in a few areas? The film received a positive response from critics and the general public. It is inching towards another milestone to touch Rs 200 Cr mark.

It is produced by Dil Raju who has bought the rights of the Nizam area and gained double profits, as per the sources. On the other hand, Captain of 'Maharshi', Vamsi Paidipally is over the moon and is already working on his new script. Vamsi's next project could be with Mahesh Babu or Prabhas.

The lead cast of 'Maharshi' - Pooja Hegde and Allari Naresh, have impressed everyone with their acting skills. They are getting lucrative offers from several filmmakers, it is learned.

Little did we know this, 'Maharshi' has become the first highest grossing film in the first quarter of this year. Other releases of this year were Venkatesh's 'F2' and Naga Chaitanya's 'Majili'. These two films fared well at the box office but Maharshi with the highest collection turned out to be the highest grosser of the year. Looks like Mahesh Babu has surpassed his contemporary Venkatesh with 'Maharshi'.

Mahesh Babu will soon be seen in 'Sarileru Neekavaru' which will commence by mid of this month. It will be directed by Anil Ravipudi and Mahesh Babu is going to portray the role of 'Army Officer' in the movie.
