Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's Zero released amid much expectations across the globe. But, the film has received mixed response from the audience. There was mammoth expectations that Shah Rukh Khan's Zero would be different than his previous movies. Unfortunately, the film failed to gather love and attention even from his loyal fans, audiences and critics.

During Zero promotions, Shah Rukh Khan declared that if Zero didn't create wonders or change his fate at the box office, he would take a long gap before he signs his next movie. Coming back to Zero, the romantic-drama helmed by Anand L Rai also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in lead roles.
