Prabhas Won’t Campaign For BJP: Krishnam Raju

Amaravati: Tollywood actor Prabhas is a rising star in the movie firmament and will not campaign for the BJP in the upcoming elections. Actor and former BJP minister, Krishnam Raju clarified this point while speaking to the media here. Prabhas was busy with his career and needed to focus on films, he is reported to have said.

Prabhas could enter politics at a much later point, Krishnam Raju is quoted as saying.
Krishnamraju also said that Chandrababu, who had betrayed the people of the state with false promises, would soon pay for his sins. The ruling TDP is steeped in corruption and asked for utilization certificates, it responded with letters diverting the issue.

Krishnamraju added that he was willing to contest from anywhere in the state, if the BJP leadership directs him. He reminded media persons that TDP got more seats in an alliance with BJP in 1999 as compared to 1998, when it fought on its own. Yet, it was resorting to falsehoods on the subject and claiming that its image had suffered on account of the BJP, the former minister said.
