Depressed Over Losses, Sanathnagar Businessmen Sets Himself Afire 

A businessman from Snehapuri colony in Sanathnagar set himself ablaze on the road in front of his house on Friday morning.

Venkatesh Gupta was said to have gotten out of his house, doused himself with petrol and set himself on fire on the road in front of his house. He succumbed to severe burn injuries and died on the spot, according to eye witnesses.

It is said that Venkatesh was depressed over the losses incurred in his business and committed suicide. Further details are awaited
