Jeedimetla Street fight: Suspected Stalker Killed

Hyderabad: Suspected of stalking two women, a man was brutally killed in Jeedimetla area on Tuesday. According to P Ramana Reddy, Jeedimetla inspector, the police received a call on 100 with the information that two people were fighting on the road and one had been beaten to death. A police team which rushed to the spot found that a man was dead with a head injury. He died died on the spot, due to his head being banged repeatedly causing a lot of blood loss, according to the police.

The police officer also said that while the deceased Kumar, was on his way home on his bicycle, two women who work in the same area were also walking home. They noticed Kumar and suspected that he was following them. When the women questioned him, an argument broke out between them and in a fight which ensued, the women hit Kumar.

Nagalakshmi, one of the women called her husband, Musthakim and said that a stranger was following and abusing them. Immediately, Musthakim went to the spot and started hitting Kumar mercilessly. During the fight, Kumar was beaten to death by the enraged husband of Nagalakshmi who kept banging his head on the road repeatedly, said the police.

Based on a complaint lodged by the victim's wife T Nirmala, the police filed a case and Kumar's body was handed over to his family after the post-mortem.
