Drugs Racket Busted In Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Telangana state government has been keeping a close watch on drugs and narcotics operations in the state. A drug racket was busted in Hyderabad on Saturday by the Prohibition and Excise department. The officials arrested one individual, Rajesh, in the city.

Rajesh brought 8,000 Alprazolam tablets from Karnataka with an intention of selling them in Hyderabad. During searches in Rangareddy district, the Excise department officials found a huge haul of narcotic drugs in the last 24 hours.

The officials seized the drugs and arrested Rajesh. According to the officials Rajesh targets auto drivers, Students and daily wage laborers, among others.
