YSR Congress Leaders Question TDP Over Data Breach Scam

Nellore: YSR Congress leader and Nellore former MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy and former Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy flayed Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu over the data breach scam, here at Samara Sankaravam review meeting, on Tuesday.
Mekapati said that the security of Andhra voters is at risk because of the data breach as a total of 59,00,000 votes are missing from the 3.69 crore votes present in the state of Andhra Pradesh. He pointed out that double votes have also been created by the Chandrababu government and demanded Election Commission to take action on the culprits.
Former Minister Anam said, “IT Grid has been deleting votes of the people, with the support of Chandrababu and his son Minister N Lokesh.” He remarked that security of personal information of over 5 crore people has been left to the wind.
Anam added that the Telugu Desam Party(TDP) government has come up with the Sevamitra application and started collecting the data of the people, later deleting their votes.
YSR Congress leader Anam Ramanarayana Reddy observed that Ashok, Kilari Rajesh, Peddi Rama Rao, Abhistha and others have been closely associated with N Lokesh in the data breach scam. He reiterated that Chandrababu has been spending crores of rupees to delete the votes.
Anam Rama Narayana Reddy reminded the Supreme Court’s directive that data of one person’s personal information should not be shared with another person, but it is saddening that the state government has gone against the law.
YSR Congress Nellore leader demanded that the Union government and Election Commission should respond and appoint a special investigation team to probe into the data breach scam.
Meanwhile, YSR Congress Party’s Samara Sankaravam is going to take place in the SVGS college grounds on Tuesday. YSRCP MLAs’ Kakani Govardhan Reddy, P Anil Kumar, Mekapati Goutham Reddy, Kiliveti Sanjeevaiah, State General Secretary Talasila Raghuram and others attended the Samara Sankaravam review meeting.
