Chandrababu Shaken By Protests At NRI Gathering In US

Nara Chandrababu Naidu - Sakshi Post

Andhra Pradesh chief minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu had to face protests from a section of the audience at an NRI meet in US, media reports stated. Protesters raised slogans demanding that those sitting on the dais were under investigation in a sex racket and should not share the stage with the CM.

The Andhra Pradesh CM had embarked on a US tour on Sunday, the day on which government whip and Araku MLA, Kidari Sarveswara Rao and former TDP MLA soma were killed by Maoists. As soon as Chandrababu began his address the following day at a TDP NRI wing in New Jersey, a section of the audience protested against the presence of individuals who were under investigation in the sex racket case in which some film stars were said to be involved. The protesters pointed this out and said they should be asked to leave the stage.
