Andhra Pradesh Is In Miserable State: Bhumana Karunakar Reddy

YSRCP leader Bhumana Karunakar Reddy - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: Senior leader of YSR Congress party (YSRCP) Bhumana Karunakar Reddy said that Andhra Pradesh government was misleading the public by displaying false figures on the Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) growth rate. He said that Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu was trying to cover up the facts stated by NITI Aayog and NABARD reports which indicates that farmers in the State are in distress. The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders tried to wipe out the NABARD findings, he observed.

Karunakar Reddy said that Chandrababu has betrayed the farmer community by failing to deliver on his loan waiver promise. "Farmers suffered losses because of Chandrababu's betrayal. They had to borrow money from private investors for high interest rates," he added.

The YSRCP leader said that Chandrababu cheated farmers, women, youth and the Self Help Groups. Adding that Chandrababu's government thrives on political manipulation, Karunakar Reddy mentioned that in the last four years, the State government added a burden of Rs 1,5 crores on loans.

"The Chief Minister uttered outright lies about the foreign investments. Chandrababu and his Benamis made Rs 4 lakh crore through the contracts," he informed. Except for CM Chandrababu and Minister Nara Lokesh, no one in the State is satisfied with the government's functioning, he added.
