Vijay Deverakonda, Samantha A Couple In Mahanati?

Hyderabad: Apart from movies of Telugu biggies releasing this year, one of the highly anticipated films in 2018 is yesteryear actress Savitri's biopic. The multi-lingual film is titled Mahanati in Telugu and Nadigaiyar Thilagam in Tamil. Keerthy Suresh will be seen playing the lead role, and Malayalam heartthrob Dulquer Salmaan will essay Gemini Ganesan's role.

Recently, the makers unveiled the first look of Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Akkineni separately and the fans couldn’t stop gushing about their retro look. Now, the makers have unveiled a new look of the two in one frame, who are seen sitting in a vintage bike. Sam and Vijay are introduced as journalists in the film who "are all set to bring you the greatest story ever told of the greatest actress that ever lived."

Meanwhile, the motion poster shows Vijay essaying Vijay Antony's character holding an old camera and gazing at Madhuravani (Samantha) as she is immersed into writing a book. Does this hint that the two are a couple? Well, we have to wait for May 9 to get the real picture. The film is directed by Nag Ashwin, who shot to fame with Yevade Subramanyam.
